Our Mission

We at Southampton Children’s Hospital believe that it is important to have all the necessary information and skills to manage your condition. We want to help you be more independent and take responsibility for your own medication, diet and exercise.  In order to do this we have developed a game for children and young people. The game is an online adventure in which you can choose a character and collect rewards, and an extra challenge is making sure you do all the things you need to, to look after your health, for example - keep a beady eye on your water meter and make sure you keep topped up!

Visitors from Beastiar Hill

It was just an ordinary morning in this small farming community. Then, a nearby hill exploded, spreading strange monster creatures all over the place causing havoc. Looks like you won't get that Saturday lie-in after all...

Our partners

For the House we used images created by undergraduate students in Arts University Bournemouth. Students took part in a competition where they were asked to design images for the game. They presented their lovely creations and three of them were chosen by the research team. It was a fascinating journey for all us that were involved. We would like to thank all the students who took part in the project for their hard work and their lecturers Paul Hilton and Paul Ward. You helped us bring this game closer to life.
